Mac Games Cheats (MGC), is a monthly publicated Hypercard 'stack' or stand alone application, with an updated archive of games cheats, tips and easter eggs for the Macintosh. Created to serve the Mac gaming community. Codes are submitted by readers, and collected from various other sources. (For more on how to submit a code, see below).
- What do I need to run it ?
MGC comes in two different formats: Hypercard Dependant and Standalone.
The Hypercard Dependant edition requires Hypercard 2.1 or later, or Hypercard player. The Hypercard player is bundled with most new Macintosh computers or can be purchased from the APDA. If you are not able to view color with the HC Dependant edition try renaming the 'Color Tools' stack.
The Stand Alone player is for those without Hypercard. On average it is significantly larger than the HC dependant edition (on average 800K ). The stand-alone edition is not available with subscriptions.
